Common side of Euro coins:
The common side of the Euro coins was designed by Luc Luyncx of the
Royal Belgian Mint and shows a map of the European Union in three varieties. The background is always six straight lines connecting the
twelve starts of the E.U. The map on the 1c., 2c. and 5c. shows the E.U.
placed on the Globe, the map on the 10c., 20c., and 50c. shows al
participating Countries as separate Nations. The map on the 1 and 2 Euro
shows all Countries as one, without frontiers.
Due to the extension of the E.U. the design of the common side of
the 10c., 20c., 50c., 1 and 2 Euro changed in 2007 or 2008, dependent upon the issuing Country.

De gemeenschappelijke
kant van de euromunten is ontworpen door Luc Luycx van de Koninklijke
Belgische Munt en stelt een kaart van de Europese Unie voor in drie
varianten. De achtergrond voor de kaart zijn steeds zes rechte lijnen
die de twaalf sterren van de Europese Unie verbinden. De kaart op de
1c., 2c. en 5c. toont de plaats van de E.U. op de wereldbol, op de 10c.,
de 20c. en de 50c. staan de deelnemende landen als separate naties. De 1
en 2 euro toont de E.U. als geheel, zonder grenzen.Als gevolg van
de uitbreiding van de E.U. is het ontwerp van de gemeenschappelijke
kant van de 10c., 20c., 50c. 1 en 2 euro gewijzigd in 2007 of 2008, afhankelijk van het land van uitgifte.

Details van euro bankbiljetten. |

The design of all 7 Euro banknotes is made by Robert Kalina and
represents a specific era of European architecture, but they don't show
any existing monuments.
The windows and gateways on the front are
symbols for the openness and cooperation within the EU, the bridges on
the back are symbols for the communication among the people of Europe
and with the rest of the World.
Other elements in the design are the flag of the EU, the word Euro in
Greek and Roman alphabet, the initials of the European Central Bank in
all languages, the copyright symbol and the signature of the president
of the ECB.
The banknotes are the same for all issuing countries. However you can identify the issuing country by the letter in front of number on the back of the banknotes.

Het ontwerp van alle 7 euro bankbiljetten is gemaakt door Robert Kalina
en toont een afbeelding uit een specifiek tijdperk van Europese
architectuur maar zij tonen geen bestaande monumenten.
De vensters en poorten op de voorzijde zijn symbolen voor de openheid
en de samenwerking binnen de E.U., de bruggen op de achterzijde staan
symbool voor de communicatie tussen de volken van Eurpa onderling en met
de rest van de wereld.
Andere uiterlijke kenmerken zijn, de vlag van de EU, het woord euro
in het Grieks en het Romeinse alfabet, de initialen van de Europese
Centrale Bank in alle taal varianten, het copyright symbool en de
handtekening van de president van de E.C.B.
De bankbiljetten zijn gelijk voor alle producerende landen. Echter het land van uitgifte kan bepaald worden aan de hand van de letter voor het nummer.
